Hey guys, I have been thinking about getting a new set of speakers for my stereo setup. The thing is that I read on these forums about so many different kinds of speakers that I can never make a decision. I guess for two speakers I am on a budget of under $300.
Any suggestions? I heard a lot of good things about these bookshelf speakers by Dr. Hsu, the HB-1's. I was also looking at the Polk R50's which are floorspeakers, but Fry's has them for only 70 bucks a speaker. Would those bookshelves be able to frive enough sound without having a sub? Sorry if this sounds all so newbie.
