Which are better? Athena AS-B1 speakers or Paradigm Atoms? I can get them both at relativily the same price. Judging from Soundstage.com, they gave AS-B1 speakers an extremely good review comparing with the Axiom M22 Ti and saying that the Axioms are only alittle better in midrange and highs while the Athenas have better Bass which makes the AS-B1s a very good cheap speaker cause the Athenas are almost half the price of the Axioms.


I have heard much praise on the Paradigm Atoms on this forum and they seem to give an awesome value/performance ratio. My question is which is better? The Athena AS-B1 speakers or the Paradigm Atoms?

You tell me... go listen to both and you decide for yourself! That's part of the fun of this hobby. If you can't, or are not inclined to, then buy the cheaper of the two becuase I'm sure both are good. I use the atoms in my HT as surrounds and they perform great!

Thanks for the reply. I wish I could listen to both of them, I have listened to the Atoms and they seemed pretty good, but I havent heard of the Athenas. Has anyone ever listened to these speakers? The AS-B1s? give me some feedback on it? Thanks
