I Have A Nvidia Fx5600 Series Video Card Installed On My Pc, It Came With A Tv In/out Adapter So I Can Connect My Pc To The Tv. The Adapter Connects Directly To The Video Card & On The Other End Has A Connection For S-video (in/out) & Connection For Composite ( Im Guessing Similar To Rca In/out). Does Anyone Have Any Info On Connecting This Card To My Tv ?

Do You Get Audio When This Is Done ?

It Sounds?? To Me That You Can Connect It Either Way But Im Not Sure

How Do You Record Live Tv Once I Get It Connected ?

What Software Is Needed ?

You will not get sound out of your video card. You will get the sound out of your sound card. So, you will connect the the video card's s-video out to your tv, and the sound cards audio out to your tv using a 1/8mini-to RCA cable.

There was likely software that came with the card for watching & recording tv. If not, there are several software packages that you can buy. BeyondTV, Snapstream, SageTV, and there are a few more. I suggest you visit the HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computer) forum, they will have better answers, likely already in FAQs. Also check out www.htpcnews.com .
