Hi everyone,


pretty new to FPs. Can any one in the NYC area tell me where i can find some showrooms that i can test/view the following FPs?


Infocus X1

Sony HS2

Sony CS5

Sony CX5

Proxima DP2000s

Sanyo PLV-Z1


They are all within my budget. I've been reading a lot of these posts and want to see how well it does. My sole use is to watch DVDs, and perhaps some PS2 games.


Also any place i can find good deals? the only place i found is projector.com so far.


Any thoughts/comments/advise will be appreciated.

Also I found Dell 2100MP to be reasonably priced. Any comments on that?


Also I read somewhere that SVGA is not good enough for DVDs. I really don't think I can afford a XGA projector at over 2000 bucks. So is it really that bad?
