Hi all,

I work for a small video production company. We're moving into a new office soon and want to set up a viewing room for clients. We're leaning towards using a projection system for this room. I'm trying to find out what projectors I should be looking at, but I don't know the slightest thing about them.

Here's some information on how we'd be using the system:

It'd be fed by a digital betacam system, dvd player (both component), dvcam player, and VHS (both s-video). All our work is in 4:3. We don't see moving into 16:9 for at least 5 years. The room this will be used in is interior, with no windows. It's 8'x20', and the screen would go against the 8' wall. We don't care at all about size or portability--the projector would only be used in this room. We won't be using it to display output from a computer. Image quality is very high on the priority level. For price we'd like to keep it under $5k, with $3k being an ideal target.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Get a used 8" or 9" CRT projector. You cant go wrong with that and it will give you alot of hours on the CRT's
