I recently purchased "Acoustic Research-Home Decor 100W 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System" as part of my home theater implementation.


I've decided to mount the tv on the wall and attempt to keep it clean looking by not having any stand or cabinet below it. I considered mounting the front speaker in the wall below the tv but it is too deep to do so.


I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone would recommend an in-wall speaker (for my center speaker) that would be on par with what I'm replacing. I really don't know enough to even make an educated guess....


If it matters, I'm going with the Denon AVR1610 for the receiver.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked at a few pics of people mounting them above or below the tv (not recessed) and almost convinced myself that I can live with that.
