Does your average center speaker (non satellite) fit on top of the newer "curvy" XBR, HV, HS Sonys? or the 34XBR800?

I had the Axiom vp150 on top of my 40XBR700 and it fit perfectly.

The only problem was that it caused the colors to change about 2 inches down from the top and toward the left side even though the speaker is shielded. I'm told that this is a problem with large tube TVs.

I have a Cambridge Soundworks center channel speaker on top of my KV-40XBR800 and it fits fine. No problems with color picture interference either.

I have the Cambridge Soundworks MC400 on my 34xbr2 and I have no issues...it is shielded tho.

I have the 36xbr800 and had to move my Klipsch center speaker off of it. Caused color problems at corner of tube.
