In general, when will the majority of the newest DVD models be available to the public, assuming they are all released in the same year quarter? What's out there now, or should I wait?
I am looking for a new progressive scan or psycho-HD DVD player in the $250-300 range, to use with a Pioneer PRO730HD, via component, DVI, or RGB video cabling and coax digital audio cable output. Only player I'm pretty sure I don't want is the Bravo, due to reported remote incompatibility problems with Pioneer RPTVs.
This player will be used for DVD movie playback only, will be complimented with my existing Sony DVD/SACD/CD multichannel audio changer for music.
