Compression problems do seem to be getting better on FOX, but have not gone away completely. I am still seeing he infamous "dancing turf" problem along with some graininess. ABC and ESPN still look a bit cleaner to me, and I suspect it's a bandwidth issue.

Watching Browns/Eagles on new Pioneer VSX-D414 home theater.....I'm getting Dolby Pro Logic Signal I thought I'd get Dolby Digital like I'm watching a DVD. Is this an issue or do I not understand?

I wasn't being sarcastic. No need to point out the obvious

Watching Falcons/Chiefs on Comcast in Atlanta. Rear speakers are weak. Receiver says DD 5.1, sounds more like DPL II.

Pic looks decent. Vibrant colors, detailed closeups. Pic still has the fox zoomed in look. This causes a couple camera bloopers - extreme closeups of passing traffic instead of the intended target.

Bears/Bucs looked awful. More like widescreen SD.

Packers/Cowboys almost as bad, especially the field-level cameras. How can they call this HD? I'd be embarassed to use this to demo HD.

Read the first post by Ken H.....Bear/Bucs was SD not HD.

Packers game looks decent. Not the best from Fox HD but much better than the WS SD crap.
