I downloaded it directly from ea's nsfu site.

I am impressed, I will be getting the PC version. My machine could not max out the graphics settings (3.0 P4, 5900SE, 512MB). But it ran good at 1024x768 with a few things turned down.

Everything is Blingy, shiny and neon as you would expect. First impression was that the track offered many more paths than NFSU 1. Handling was similar to NFSU 1.

Just ordered a wireless logitech rumblepad 2. Once I get that and hook my pc up to my panny 50LC14 Ill post more thoughts....

I installed it last night. The game looks pretty good, but there is only support for standard 4x3 resolutions. No widescreen support, at least not in the demo. The sad thing is some of the older NFS games had widescreen support, so probably another downgrade from EA.

NFS games do not share the same developer. The people who made nfsu did not make nfs : pu. I got a 6800 gt amd64 3200 with a gig of ram ill post my results.

May I ask where you ordered that from? Logitech's website still lists it as unavailable, and I'm on the mailing list for when it's released to retail and haven't heard anything yet.

I ordered it from amazon.com last night. $31, no tax, free shipping.

Its on a UPS ground truck as we speak.

Will report back, I am going to buy at least two more if its good.

Played a few minutes of the demo. I like it very much. Boy I'm going to have to post some pics and let the console gamers weep in their blocky images. The pc version will put the console version to shame I'm sure it won't even be close at all. Yet another reason besides doom3, half life, exc, HTPC is where it's at.

This needs a widescreen hack asap.

wow thanks this will help when i get my ae700 from japan

The nfsu2 demo ran real smooth on my gt with everything maxed at 1280 but the graphical difference between this and the previous game aren't substantial.
