Hello,

I have the nht superzero 2.0 and I'm looking for a sub woofer to go with them. Nht says that the super 8 was made for the SZ 2.0.

I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this subwoofer?

And if there are any better subwoofers to pair with my SZ2.0?

I would like to keep the price under $500. Thank you for your time

I can't find any "superhero 2.0" speakers on NHT's website, but I do see SuperZero 2.0 speakers. You can pair any sub you want with them, as long as the sub extends high enough to cross over with the SZs.

The SVS SB-1000 or PB-1000 ($499, shipped, for either sub) are good options.

When it's on sale for ~$300 at Newegg.com, the Klipsch RW-12d is another solid choice.

-- Edit --

For quick reference, here are the various subs' specs:

NHT Super 8:

- 8" driver

- 110 "mystery" watts amp

- 37Hz @ -3dB

SVS SB-1000:

- 12" driver

- 300W RMS amp

- 24Hz @ -3dB

SVS PB-1000:

- 10" driver

- 300W RMS amp

- 19Hz @ -3dB

Klipsch RW-12d:

- 12" driver

- 350W RMS amp

- 24Hz @ -3dB
