Anyone familar with the NHT Sub2 ? I am looking for a NHT sub and I need any info on the Sub2 compared to the U series ? my room is 14' 6" x 17' and I am using 5 M6s with a NAD 762 ........thanks in advance

I would recommend going with the U series, specifically the U2. I'm not going to sit here an rattle off specs between the two, as that can be obtained from NHT's website, www.nhthifi.com, but the U series is specifically designed to match better the M series speakers. The subs in the U series are identical to those in the T5/T6. They offer nice tight bass, and handle both HT and music very well. Sure, there are subs that may go a couple of Hz's lower, but the U series produce rich AND tight bass.

I had the NHT SubTwo and quite enjoyed it.

It is a very versatile desigg with its fully variable outboard crossover that can sit in your equipment rack. And they look damn good too, with the trademark NHT piano-black gloss finnish. Ther are some good buys at Audiogon.com on the SubTwo as they are now a 2-3 years old.
