I went to visit the Stereo Times website and my Norton AntiVirus successfully detected the Nimda virus. Wheh you visit the site, there is a readme.eml file that contains the virus and tries to open with Windows Media Player. There were actually two files from the Stereo Times website that would have infected my computer had it not been detected by Norton. Please be alert! Please let forum memebers know of any other "infected" sites that forum members may visit.

Considering how many bone-headed idiots there are out there (ie, system administrators who won't patch their web servers even after the red alert worm), methinks this might be a loong thread if so...

Mail the people who have the servers instead?

Personally I wish the ISP's would just disconnect the web servers that are now spewing out both red alert and nimda.

There is no excuse good enough to let an IIS site catch these things, the security holes they use are ancient by now and patching IIS is so simple anyone could do it...
