hey folks, new here.


I think eye tv should be intergrated into the Front Row menu. It's kinda irksome to have to open the application with the mouse and keyboard. Does anybody think there will be an update or way to intergrate this third party app into Front Row, so it is a bit more seamless like a regular tv?

Short answer, no. Front Row and EyeTV were better integrated once in a previous version, 2.3.0, I think. Then it was quickly pulled.

On a tangent here, I also notice that I receive a better reception without the Elgato Hybrid usb imput. - just watching over-the-air hdtv and standard tv on my samsung HDtv.


Is this because of my mac mini's graphics card/(shared) cpu.


The resolution thru the Eye Tv is only 720x480 while it seems much crisper when the antenna is connected directly to the tv.. (particularly the HD broadcasts)


maybe i should buy an hd antenna or something?.. but it seems to be a comp issue.
