I'm very curious about this tv, especially regarding it's widescreen aspect/SDTV hybrid design and peformance. But can't find anything beyond the basic specs on it on google....?
No reviews/analysis on Toshiba 26DF56?

No progressive scan, but it should still be an excellent set for DVDs in the bedroom. It has excellent color and contrast, but don't expect it to look great when you get it. It'll take some fine tuning.
The Toshiba 26HFs are known for their scaling and "banding" problems with HD material, so this set should be immune to those problems since it's the SD version.
