I am using a Creative sound card and it's analog outs.

I ran the Avia test disc last night through MyMovies.

Left, Center, Right, LS, and RS were all there. But the Sub was not.

I went to the Creative THX control pannel and it's test signals all worked properly including the sub.

Then I went into windows media center and found the multi-channel setup there. I selected 5.1, and tested the channels and all was good including the sub.

I went back to MCE & MyMovies and athe Avia test disk still didn't send LFE audio to the sub.

Am I doing something wrong? Should I just forget the idea of uncompressed audio from blu-ray, and use spdif?

thanks,

~Jay

I remember reading someplace that said that in Vista you should not tough the creative application, because it would change the settings from MCE.

Try and set the speaker settings in Control Panel/Audio and not touch the MCE or Creative settings. For MCE just say yes to if you heard the sub.

Put something up see if you hear it.
