I don't understand it. I tried to watch the game on ESPN and DirecTV told me it was blacked out. That doesn't make any sense. It was a sold-out game. I think I am out of the effected black-out area (more than 60 miles away from San Jose), and friends in Tracy (one city closer) and Ripon (one city farthur away) both were watching it. My friends are on AT&T cable and Dish Network.
Any idea why it would have been blacked out? I called DirecTV and talked to a doofus of a customer service rep. He told me that it was blacked-out. I said yeah, I see that, but why? My friends get it in other towns.... His best response was that maybe the other cable companies bought the rights to the game and they have to respect that. That was bogus.
I hope I can watch the last game of the series, and the next if they keep going...
