I have a Denon AVR 1910 that was recently given to me and when I connected speakers I got no sound from them, except for the speakers I connected to the surround back/ amp assign ports and the sound could not be lowered or raised, it was just a clear constant pretty loud fm channel signal

Try resetting the microprocessor (p. 64 Owner's manual) to return all settings to factory defaults. Also try blowing compressed air into the headphone jack.

I have a Denon AVR 1910.
I've tried connecting speakers but get no sound. What's the proper way to connect and get sound. I'm new to these things and notice he unit has a very complex remote control. A little help would be great.

Since it is used make sure you reset it to
Factory default first.
