Hello

Every time I switch TV off sound also goes off.

I have a HTPC with ATI Radeon HD 3200 on-board connected to AVR Onkyo 606 through HDMI cable. Onkyo is connected to a Samsung 37' LCDTV. Some times I'm doing things around the house, like cleaning, so I'm won't be looking to TV (and there's no reason to do that, it's only music). I add a lot music to foobar2000 or KMPlayer but the sound goes off once I switch TV off. Is this normal? This means that I only can listen music with TV on?

Thanks for any input.

On my Onkyo 606 with a radeon 4850 to a samsung 40" LCD if I turn the TV off the audio cuts out but returns again after a few seconds. I'd say the receiver is the cause as it happens with any source playing.

Check the receiver's setting for HDMI control under hardware setup. You should have the "control" setting disabled and "TV control" disabled. This will disable the HDMI-CEC settings but I've found they didn't work too well with this receiver anyway.

Hello and thank you all.

This didn´t happen with the original drivers but original drivers also have a problem. With original drivers, when I turn TV on there's video signal...If computer was on before receiver/TV.

Thrillho, I have the "control" setting disabled and "TV control" disabled.

Maybe all this is another Onkyo thing.

Anyway, thanks
