Here is my configuration:


Panasonic DVD-RP56 with DTS digital out.

Yamaha RX-V530 Digital DTS.


The two are connected only by the optical link.


When I watch Pearl Harbor and configure the sound

for DTS I don't get any sound at all. 5.1 works fine

but nada from DTS.


Any Ideas how to solve this problem?

Your DVD player is probably configured to *not* pass the DTS bitstream - check the setup menu

You guys lost? I got all excited that someone was sending DTS with HD. Art

Yes indeed the DVD player needed to be configured for

PCM DTS bitstream...
