My setup is as follows:

Desktop computer with a HT Omega Claro Plus+ sound card

Output through Optical to ->

Denon AVR-1911

I have disabled my onboard audio as well as my video card's audio. I have Optical1 set up on my receiver as the CD input. The card is my default audio device.

I receive sound on my receiver with HDMI, but no sound comes out when connected to my PC. Please help!

Try testing another optical source device (eg. cable/sat box) as more than likely the issue is with a setting on the HTPC.
