I have no sound when connecting my computer via HDMI to the TV/Cable setting on the Denon 3808. I have picture, but no sound.  Computer hooked up direct to TV via HDMI has both sound and video.

Have you installed the HDMI Sound drivers? Is HDMI sound selected in properties? What motherboard/graphics card are you using? Operating system?

Go into your computer Control Panel sound settings and select your TV for the Output Device.

I have installed the latest HDMI drivers.  I have Windows 8.1.  I can get the video and audio when directly connecting to the TV.  Only get video when connecting through the Denon.
