I have a SHARP LE830 LED TV with Onkyo 609. The tv and onkyo both support ARC. I have a 3d LG blue ray player connected to Onkyo 609.


The weird thing is if i connected the HDMI OUT of avr to HDMI IN (ARC enabled) of my TV, i can't see the on screen menu of Onkyo, no video at all. But when i switch to my TV channel, i can hear the sound output from TV, that mean the ARC has been configured successfully on the avr and TV.


Now the question is, why can't i see the video or the onkyo GUI on my TV?

If i connect the AVR to a non-arc HDMI port of my TV, everything is working fine. I suspect there is a setting on the TV but i just cant find any.
