Hello all. I'm having a problem with the side input of my hitachi plasma - 55hdx99. No matter what source I connect to the side, I get the message "No Sync Signal" and the TV goes into standby mode.
The manual states that the input "input 5" is Y-PBPR can be used for composite or component video input. I've tried a regular 480i input from a vcr, 480p from Wii, 1080i from HTPC and can not get any response from the TV. Each source and cable was verified via rear panel connections as well.
I do not see any menu options for setting up the source.
The hitch is that I bought the unit refurbished. Everything works great except for this. I have a 30 day warranty which will expire on Tuesday. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
