I just installed the software that came with my HF 100 but I can get a video image when playing back the files off of the camera or PC.

Is there something I am doing wrong or something I need to do with my video card? My laptop configuration is as follows;

XPS M1730, Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000(2.8GHz, 800Mhz 6M L2 Cache)

4GB, DDR2, 667MHz

NVIDIA SLI Dual GeForce 8700MGT with 512MB GDDR3 Memory

320GB 7200RPM Hard Drive

I have the video cards set in SLI mode and I will change this to see if it matters. If it doesn't I am at a loss.

Any suggestions???

I recently had a similar problem, it was caused by a bad sdhc card I had just

bought. It seemed to record video just fine, but when I went to watch the video using imagemixer, it wouldn't play. I popped in my other sdhc card, and it worked again.

Your computer specs seem fine.

**Update - My laptop was acting up after installing Image mixer so I did a restore point and then reinstalled it.

Now the video works fine. When I did the restore, it took the video cards out of SLI mode and I think this was behind the problem. Of course I couldn't say that for certain but at any rate it is working.

Did you register your camcorder's unique serial # in the Pixela software during install while connected to the internet?

It won't work, otherwise.

The serial is located in the battery compartment; it may contain a couple of extraneous characters - so leave or omit them until it is works.

Yes I did that during the install and it stated the it was registered. For the heck of it I might put the video cards into SLI mode the next time I re-boot just to see if that was the culprit.

I put the video cards on my laptop back into SLI mode and this did cause my problem of not showing video playback. Windows media player didn't play video either.

Problem solved!
