Hey all, need some quick help..
I know theres a poll about noisy DVD drives but has anyone ever noticed their DVD drive seek noise being louder after some time of ownership?
Mine just buzzes with noise now when it seeks. However when it is playing a BR movie, it is quiet. It is noisy and constantly noisy when I have R:FOM game disc in it. And worst of all, I just notice the noise today. I've never heard of this groaning noise before. I place my unit horizontally.
Should I return it? Its a costco buy. How do I preserve what I have already on the HD?
