Audio:

• Denon AVR-391 5.1 Channel AV Home Theater Receiver with HDMI 1.4a
• Polk Audio TSi200 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)
• Polk Audio TSi100 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)
• Polk Audio CS10 Center Channel Speaker
• Polk Audio Monitor Series PSW10 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer

Will this AVR power these speakers to work with the projector I listed above.


I have a pretty slim budget and do not want to make any mistakes by buying the wrong Receiver for these speakers.

you might save a few bucks substituting Polk Monitor Series speakers for the TSi series. Monitors preceded the TSi lineup, same speakers with aesthetic changes to the enclosure to create the TSi line.


Polk Monitor 40 = TSi 200

Polk Monitor 30 = TSi 100

CS1 = CS10

The Polk PSW10 is a unit made to a price point and a bit of an embarrassment to the Polk lineup. Don't consider a Polk subwoofer lower than the PSW505. Other budget subs to consider are BIC and Dayton brand from Parts-Express http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=300-635

Agreed! The Monitor series would save some money and yes, the Denon should power the speakers no problem. I've never listened to the P.A. subs but the general consensus is that they are pretty bogus. Sounds like a stay with the speakers, look elsewhere for the sub, maybe Bic America?

The BIC F12 is a good sub for under $200. I have it and would be surprised if you could find something that beats it for the price.
