My showstopper 2000 is not updating the guide info anymore.. i still get ReplayTV messages and when i force a connect it works and downloads the data, but i have to force it to do it...


any ideas??

Try rebooting (either the hold the power down for 10 seconds or pull the plug for 2 minutes routine). Showstoppers aren't programmed to reboot like newer models and have been known to go several months without a reboot, so this may help.

The connection may be dropping out. Lowering modem speed to 33.6 may completly eliminate the problem http://www.exreplaytv.com/modem/index.html
