Uh oh, I hooked up a different DVD player and I still get Black Crush. Does this just mean that my display doesn"t support BTB?

Not getting BTB with firmware 2.0 over HDMI
Is this a common problem? I've unplugged it from my receiver and hooked up my HD-A1 directly to my display via a single HDMI cable (not DVI) to make sure it wasn't a problem with the receiver, which it wasn't.

No easy answer here....
Try component video. The BTB issues are supposed to be SD Title related only. But video levels standards incompatibility has plagued HD displays and sources for quite a while now in all honesty.
Also keep pumping those FW updates in as they come out. I would not be surprised if a fix for this comes out. Like a new menu option somewhere in setup even.
