Noticeable difference Monitor Silver 5i and Atlanta Technology 250.1?

I have an Atlanta Technology 250.1 digital dolby set today. I am building a new HT and I am deciding about buying a new system or just keeping the Atlanta Technology 250.1 system. I was planning on spending about $5000.00 for the new system. It was suggested that I buy the Monitor Audio Silver 5i/7i. Will this be noticeably better than what I have today the Atlanta Technology 250.1 with the Pioneer 9xx receiver? In the new system I was thinking of going with the Denon AVR 4800.
