Notre Dame de Paris (dvd) !

ok, don't know if this was discussed here in the past, but this spectacle is fabulous.

the dvd is in dolby stereo but at a high kbps imho. i listened to it on my ref system Denon A1SR on a JBL PRO cinema system and a the new KEF Reference system. awesome! considering this is not even a PCM stereo source. engaging the THX DPLII mode was exactly what was needed. it's extremely warm and smooth imho.


the transfer is 4/3 not anamorphic but quite good imho, with excellent contrast.


this spectacle based on Hugo's work was a gigantic success in France.

also, Helene Segara, who plays Esmeralda, is of exceptional beauty and carries a voice that is.... oh my........... heaven!
