Hey folks- I'm looking at the lg bd390 and saw that it can play divx HD encoded disks. I've done what I think is a decent search on Divx... And have learned a lot. But I'm having a hard time figuring out the end impact of having a blu Ray played that can handle divx HD. So I have 2 basic questions:

1. Does this mean I can download new and old releases encoded in Divx-HD... Burn them to a DVD disk and watch them using my blu-Ray player? If so, are there sites that sell downloadable movies.... (site names would be great).

2. Is the quality of a divx-HD encrypted file really good? I.E., would it look great played on blu-Ray player and viewed on a 50" plasma?

Thanks. Any insight is valuable.
