The new DVD release, "Planet of the Apes" has a special feature that can only be accessed by Nuon DVD players. What features do Nuon players have?

A few years ago there were supposed to be Nuon DVD players that were basically DVD players that could play video games. I have only seeen one or 2 actual Nuon systems. They FINALLY started appearing on the market now.

Any idea where I can look one up on the internet. I would like to look at the specs and capability. Could a DVD-rom act like a nuon player? You basically can hook up a joystick or game pad and play.

The only player I know of with nuon is the toshiba 2300 and the new model 2700. The are on Toshiba's website and Im pretty sure you can pick one up for cheap on Ebay.

I have heard that the Toshiba SD2300 has been discontinued after a very short life. The Samsung DVDN2000 is the only Nuon player I can find now.

Yes...Nuon is DOA. Samsung never gathered the large industry support for Nuon enhanced DVD's to make it worthwhile for anyone. Same deal w/ the Nuon "games" that they tried to offer.
