I just bought a Magnavox 37" LCD HDTV (37mf231d)...trying to connect my PC to it via dvi/hdmi cable...I have the nvidia geforce 6200LE card...every time the computer starts loading windows (after the windows XP logo and loading bars), the screen flickers and the machine reboots. When I unistall the nvidia drivers, it loads fine, but I only get 800X600 resolution. I have tried custom resolutions to match my HDTV resolution, but to no avail. Any ideas?

Make sure you are using an interface over your DVI-HDMI connection that your TV user manual says it supports over HDMI. Most HDTVs only support 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p or some subset of this list. If you are not sure your best bet is to try 720p which is [email protected]
i did set my resolution to 1280 x 720 p which my tv does specify in the manual...it doesn't matter what resolution is set if the nvidia driver is loaded it crashes/reboots the system
