Hi all,


Can any one tell me it the new generation of nvidia chip set card ( fx5700,Fx5950) can combine the sync signal,


I have a Barco 708 which requires a combine sync signal, at the moment i am using a ATI 9500 which does have to option or would Power strip be able to do what i want if the nvidia card doesn't , got the impression that it would not.

Powerstrip does have the option for combined sync but it maybe scrolling during bootup. Have the same complication when using a Barco Vision701.

At the moment I am using the ATI card with Powerstrip and all is fine,


but i would like to upgrade to the new FX5950 but am unsure if this card would combine the sync signal like the ATI does, or if Power strip would carry out the combining of the Sync signal if the card did not support it

Steve, Im afraid NVidia cards only generate separate sync. You'll would have to resort to an external solution - which would be better anyway, since it wouldn't be software dependent...

I'd just stick with the ATI card or get a newer ATI card. Why do you feel the need to switch to nvidia?
