I used the RegEdit. Simple

On my philips hdr1000 4k I made

3840x1836 so 21:10.

I did use CRU to adjust the gysync to 35-60 and monitor still works

Here is my next project: can we use CRU to put the 21:10 on the BOTTOM of the screen and have a big black bar at the top. Just “lower” the screen. I think that is the porch control but need to play with it!!!
I am looking for the same type of Screen position for my projector to display 21:9 at the lower half of the screen.Any help how to do it ?.Thanks in Advance

Thanks so much. I used the RegEdit hack to add 4096 x 1707 custom resolution which now allows me to enable HDR. Time to start gaming with scope resolution and HDR!

awesome!

fwiw, i' recommend copying your registry edit to a text file and stashing it in a place you'll remember, that way whenever you update your drivers and your edit is zapped, or when windows does a major update and wipes your edits, you can just copy/paste the text file back into to the registry.
