For fun I popped a 5200 in my htpc to play with vmr9 and see if it's worth upgrading from my radeon 7500. The overall brightness is really bad on the pj, although my second monitor looks ok. I've got about a 35 foot run of canare rgbvh to the nec, could the issue be that the card just can't push the cable like the radeon did? Am I crazy to continue without putting an extron in here, or is the 5200 just crap? Thanks for any input, I'm interested in upgrading but a little gun shy now since the 7500 was ok for brightness and did the job, I'm just getting left behind as far as decoders, etc.
