Does anyone know what the differences are between versions of Nvidia purevideo decoder? I bought version 1.02-150 (July 2005), and noticed that the newest version is now 1.02-223 (June 2006). Can I just download the latest one and use the old activation information? In addition, I bought the bronze version while the latest trial package is platinum, so I don't know whether that would be a problem.


I understand that the most recent video card drivers are adding new capabilities to playback. I'm just wondering whether I should get the latest decoder also.

You should be able to download the latest version and update to it. Just run the installer for the new version. You'll need the activation keyand details again to reinstall but it should definitely work.
