Seems to me there used to be a company that specialized in transferring audio from old obsolete formats to currant formats. If any of you know companies that do this kind of work, I'd greatly appreciate a reply. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. The material is four old tapes my brother-in-law has had since about 1964. He says they're one-inch mag tapes on reels about 14" in diameter. He last played the tapes on a TEAC 4010S machine and that the tapes were once used by the Armed Forces Network. He thinks the tapes are single track. I'm hoping this description rings a bell. He'd like to be able to transfer the tapes to a current media before they disintegrate. Thanks for any help.
