I've had a Sony KDL-40V5100 for about 6 months. I self calibrated using various on-line and CD sources. The picture looks good. My only thought is that I'm either having mental problems or their is something wrong with settings or the LCD design. The longer I watch it seems that the white are morphing into yellows. As this comes and goes I'm considering a brain scan but it's odd. Is there something that would overbalance yellow and cause it to bleed into the white aside from malfunctioning brain chemistry?

To identify a color bias without an adjacent comparison or a meter is impossible.

Read the threads on bias lighting which cover the issue very well.

so are you saying youve been watching the exact same show on the exact same channel for 6 months and sometimes it looks off? remember there are a zillion variances between channels and shows
