I know this DVD is a 1:85:1 Non-Anamorphic DVD that I assume is flagged improperly as a 4:3 LBX? It displays bars on the top and bottom that are a little bigger then a 2:35:1 Anamorphic film and the picture is stretched horizontally. There is no way around this except for using one of my Toshiba 57H81 zoom modes is there? My JVC players automatically scaled it to 16:9 and it looked great. As far as I know I only have 1 or 2 other DVDs that are non anamorphic widescreen.

I think I have a similar problem with The Abyss (2.35:1) on my RP82. First time I have played it on this machine, never seen it on anybody else's player, so don't know how they handle it. It is non-anamorphic and I had to use my WS TV's zoom too, and it did still look great. I have not noticed this problem on any other 2.35:1 DVD's so far with the 82 (assume 72 would be similar). The Abyss looked scrunched up like it might on a 4:3 screen.
