make sure to mention that it's the US release that has the excessive DNR... and IIRC the german (or is it french) release had some DNR (not as much as the US release)... the UK release however is the DNR free release

This is easy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I think my DVD looked better, it has one big gloss effect like the film was dropped in a vat of vaseline before running through the encoder. The DNR is 10x worse than Patton, imo.

afaik the basic instinct and rambo - first blood blu-rays were also affected (?)
