"The Wolfman" (2010) --4/5

I don't know where Hollywood.com gets off giving this flick a 1/2 star rating, but this movie is an example of glorious classic film-making with an HD twist.

Acting, cinematography, creature special effects, and a realistic re-creation of 19th century England were all imparted to the viewer with the utmost of quality expressiveness and meticulous craftsmanship. The cadence of the movie and the editing could have been better executed, but all in all, a very worthwhile flick.

I assume you meant "The Wolfman."

My last three movies:

Shutter Island 4.5 of 5 stars

Crazy Heart 4 of 5 stars

Dear John 4 of 5 stars (sorry, my wife & I both like chick flicks)

But, does this thread really belong in the LCD Forum?

This thing needs to be moved out of the LCD Threads and be discussed in the Movie section.

Whip it - 2.5 out of 5 stars. Worse than I thought. Ellen Page was decent but she couldn't save the unoriginal storyline.

Dear John - 1.5 out of 5 stars. Absolutely terrible. Contrived story line, bad acting. Horrible.

I prefer the 10 point scale.

The Hangover: 8/10 - One of the better comedies.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine: 7/10 - Didn't read the comics but thought the movie itself was pretty good.

Transformers 2: 7/10 - Didn't really follow the cartoons and thought the action was good. story and writing were mediocre though.
