I have a Sharp HDTV Ready TV and am using the 6000 to hook it up. It has wideband component video via BNC's and both have VGA connections (I'm assuming RGB)

Should I use the Component Video or the RGB to hook them up?

Thanks in advance.

Anybody know which is best? RGB or Component?

As far as I know, you should use the RGB.

Either should work fine, but in theory, RGB should be better.

I run both hi-band component video (from a Panasonic TU-DST51) and RGBHV (from a RCA DTC-100) into my display, both look identical.

If the Sharp accepts both RGB & component, why not try both out of the 6000 & see what they actually look like?
