As some of you may or may not know, I had an order from 1800.....and dog gone it, when I placed my order they did not have any in stock.

So after I browsed the avs forum, i noticed the special up top for us members and I placed my order this morning and my NEW Pan TH-42PWD7UY with the stand will be here by this Wednesday.

Nick has great customer service at PlasmaConcepts and highly recommend you guys do business there.

Can't wait...want my panny now...:(

I just bought a TH-42PX25 through Nick and I agree he was very helpful.

One disappointing note was that I paid an extra 50 bucks for 2-day shipping and the TV didn't get to me on the second day. (I wanted it for football last weekend!). :)

I think it was more the shipping company's screw up though. Anyway, I'm getting the extra 50 bucks credited back to me. And plasmaconcepts apologized.

Thanks buddy!

Yeah, you're right, it's painful just thinking about it although I just bought a funky stand for it online from racksandstands.com. They have a huge selection you can't find at any B&M!

Nice work cbs! And here is your unofficial welcome post... :D

Some threads for reference to assist you;

Out-of-the-Box acceptance test , to help prepare you for the proper steps to take when the big box shows up,

42PWD6UY Settings File thread to give you an idea of other users settings,

Are you seeing the FULL image you paid for!? , which is _Michaelangelo_s thread to assist in overscan,

Don't forget "Hammer's Settings of Extreme Visual Bliss"

And last, but absolutely not the least, be sure to check out the "Steaming Rat," or "Rich's Method For Achieving A More Realistic Image... to assist in your calibration process.

Enjoy your new plasma! :D

thanks juice for the links! You gave them to me before but that's cool because I'm still jacked about getting this set!

Now, I just bought my inifiniti speakers and my pioneer receiver. All I'm waiting for now is my plasma and stand!;)

Please note: Throughout my lifetime, I have found it better to wait til a piece of equipment (plasma display) warms up to room temperature if it is delivered in cold weather..let us say below freezing. I am not saying a 'cold' warm-up will damage it, just saying it is better if you let it stand for several hours in a heated room. Just something to think about here.
