Just wondering with Klipsch buying and shutting Athena down if its a good idea to grab the WS 100's on sale for $299/pair or maybe avoid due to no support/repair options if they break?

There is still support for Athena from Klipsch. They have to keep parts for a certain period of time. Are you looking for wall mount speakers? Get a WS-60 center speakers too since stock is limited.


Also take a look at the Energy FPS. They're $149 each on ebay and Energy isn't being discontinued like Athena.

I have 3 WS-60's in a LCR configuration. Despite my better judgement, you may want to look elsewhere for LCR's. I'll be upgrading to JBL's L series in the near future.
