Hi,
I have a new house being built with a room with the following dimensions,
length: 22 ft 4 inches
width: 11 ft 11inches
height: 9 ft
The builder is offering to pre-wire for 7.1 surrounds and has asked me exactly where I want the surrounds at.
I am aware of the suggestion from,
http://www.dolby.com/consumer/setup/...r-setup-guide/
and that for the left and right surround should ideally be at ear level. Most likely, I will have a side entry door way on the right surround so I think I cannot have ear level. So my question - To keep the surrounds all at the same height, would it be acceptable to mount the surrounds high, close to the ceiling while following the degree guidelines as shown?
TIA!
