Gents,

Need your input on this one.

Sold my house and let go whit it my 7.1 home theatre system.

Pioneer SC-05 (2009)

Front: ENERGY Tower C9

Rear: ENERGY Tower C7

Side: ENERGY Bookshelves C3

Center: ENERGY CC3 (Big one)

Sub: ENERGY ESW-V10

Going to the new house, I bought a new PIONEER SC79 but now I need to get a new set of speakers...

One of the option would be to offer money to the guy who just bought my house to keep my old speakers..

The other option would be a full set of PARADIGM STUDIO as follow:

Front: PARADIGM STUDIO 100 v5

Rear: PARADIGM STUDIO 10

Side: PARADIGM STUDIO ADP-590

Center: PARADIGM STUDIO C590

Sub: PARADIGM STUDIO SUB12

Total of more than 6000$....

Need your opinion on that.

Probably can get my old speakers back for 500$ to 1000$...

The guy does not know what my ENERGY speakers are all about... and their value... ;)

Worth to spend the money on brand new PARADIGM kit or not?

Would I be able to notice a good difference in term of sounding?

Or better just fight to keep my my old ENERGYs?

My ENERGYs are style in PERFECT shape...

Thank for your advices.

Hello. I had the studio 100s and cc690 (v5). They were great. Noticed a little improvement by adding an emotiva xpa2 for the 100s to offload a little from from my yammie 3010. That being said I didn't watch enough movies to justify that type of system. I ended up selling the 100s, 690, and emo. I will say I do kinda miss the 690.

I would say it depends on how much you use. If you are everyday type of person and like the size and looks of the 100s then go for it. If you are an occasional user then I'd ask myself the value question.

I did try a Sc-65 with the paradigms. I personally didn't like that combo. But everyone has different tastes.

I think you can save some money by going used on the 10s and adps.

Size is not an issue and I kind of like their look also.

C-Serie is also quit big.

I use my system on a daily base.

I will check for used ones for sure if I go ahead and let my C-Serie go...

Meeting with my buyer is set on saturday morning.

Before then, any other comments on the comparison?
