Well, I am doing my end of the year cleaning, and I have to get rid of a lot of home theater magazines that I have accumulated over the past few years. I would feel real bad just to toss them - there is a lot of really useful information for somebody just getting into this whole HT game. I would rather give them to somebody, but either they would have to pick them up or pay for shipping.
I have the past 3-4 years worth of the following magazines:
Home Theater
Widescreen Review
Sound & Vision
Stereophile Guide to Home Theater
I will likely keep the past 12 months of issues for my personal reference (I will probably be willing to donate those next year). Anybody interested? Or should I pitch them out with the trash (or recycle them)? I live in El Paso, TX (Zip 79912). Thanks.
OK, you're going to think I'm crazy, but with a recent move, I just "purged" my audio magazines to only post 1996! So, I have every copy of the following magazine since 1996:
Home Theater
Widescreen Review
Stereophile Guide to Home Theater/Ultimate AV
Sound and Vision
Stereophile
Audio/Video Interiors (which no longer exists!)
My wife thinks I'm crazy - especially since I had to box all these up for the move. I'm thinking of now purging to at least the year 2000.
Wow! I would go later than that! Maybe to '03? You can usually locate previous articles via their website, or even order an ariticle or back issue if needed.
