I have been enjoy my last setup and i think it is time for a new Plasma. my last Panny was a TH-42PWD7. So i see a few different models. My limit is

2K so let me know what Panny is the one to go with. When i bought mine the Professional panel was the way to go. Is it still that way or is the consumer panel better. I would like a 54"to 58" but a 50" would do. Thanks I need the help being out so long.

What I was looking at was the TC-P54G10 or the TH-50PF11UK. I could not find a thread that compared the two. Any comments on these two . Thanks

The PF11UK uses the panel from last year's 11G consumer models. The G10 has the newer and much better 12G NeoPDP panel and would surely look better despite not having the extended picture adjustments that the old Pro model has. The G10 looks pretty darn good,

A better comparison would be the PF11UK and some of last year's models like the PZ85U/PZ800U/PZ850U since these are are 11G models and share the same plasma panel module and most of the various video boards. My G10 looks considerably better than my next-door-neighbor's PZ85U (that i set up for her), and she's tapped into my cable feed so we get the same good signal. 12G is better than 11G.

I would agree with Randy...the G10 is a fine set. If you go to amazon.com you can get a 54" for under $1700...they are almost out of them as they have been having some great promotions on the G10's.
